How many number-one albums does Drake have?
Drake, with the simultaneous release of his three albums, Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, last Friday, is seeking to reassert his dominance on the music charts. Already among the most successful charting artists of all time, the man truly has few rivals in that regard.
The signs that Drake’s release strategy this time around will pay off look positive. The main album, Iceman, has already been noted as having achieved the eighth-highest number of Spotify streams ever for its first day. Drake has also already been declared the most-streamed artist of 2026 so far.
Not only that, but the buzz surrounding Iceman has caused a spike in streams of his previous albums. His second album Take Care is the primary beneficiary, but Views, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, Certified Lover Boy, Scorpion, Thank Me Later, and For All The Dogs are all present in the top 100 albums on the US Billboard 200. Three more, More Life, Nothing Was The Same and Her Loss, appear at numbers 104, 148 and 192, respectively.
Each and every one of these albums has, at one point or another, been at the top of the charts in the US. Drake has an incredible number of chart-topping albums, especially when taking into account his collaborative projects, mixtapes and compilations, scoring a whopping 14 number ones on the Billboard 200.
His first album, Thank Me Later, jumped straight to number one upon its release in 2010, followed by Take Care and Nothing Was the Same doing the same in 2011 and 2013. Two mixtapes followed in 2015, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and his collaboration with Future, What a Time to Be Alive, both of which also debuted at number one.
In 2016, Drake released Views, his fourth album, which went straight to the top spot, followed by More Life, a mixtape, which went to number one in 2017. Scorpion dropped in 2018, and a compilation album, Care Package, followed in 2019, both of which went to number one.
The following year, he released a mixtape called Dark Lane Demo Tapes, and, finally, he failed to totally dominate the charts with it. This one only made it to number two, making it his first release not to top the charts since his 2009 mixtape So Far Gone, which was from before he’d become a superstar.
Drake returned to form with the 2021 album Certified Lover Boy, which hit number one and made him the first-ever artist to have scored ten number one albums. His 11th and 12th albums, both released in 2021, also became chart-toppers, with Honestly, Nevermind getting there first, followed by the 21 Savage collaboration Her Loss.
For All the Dogs went to number one in 2023, with his PartyNextDoor collaboration, Some Sexy Songs 4 U, getting there in 2025. Now we’re in the Iceman era, and the signs look good for him to continue his extraordinary run of chart-dominating form.
