How 50 Cent savagely trolled Ja Rule at his own concert
The 50 Cent and Ja Rule feud has been going on for years. When the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ creator first entered the game in the early 2000s, it was serious because Ja Rule was a prominent mainstream artist, and it lasted for a long time.
The origin of the feud is disputed, but it is believed that Ja Rule and 50 Cent developed a mutual hatred for each other after the former was robbed at gunpoint in Queens. The ‘Always On Time’ rhymer insisted the robbery was undertaken by an affiliate of 50 Cent and even alleged that Fifty ordered his associates to mug and pistol-whip him.
However, it seems ever since they have been at each other’s necks. Still, after the event, as time passed it became evident that 50 Cent was reaching heights Ja Rule would never and, for about 15 years, 50 Cent has been punching down while becoming wealthier and wealthier.
That said, during the 2010s, 50 Cent had a lot of fun making light of Ja Rule’s career and lack of success compared to his. That was epitomised in 2018 when Fifty trolled Ja Rule at his concert in Arlington, Texas, without even being present.
In an effort to make light of Ja’s ticket sales, in November 2018, 50 Cent decided to buy 200 tickets at the front of his foe’s concert so it would appear empty. Prior to doing it, he took to social media and wrote, “People think I’m mean, so go see this. $15 bucks. Wait, what do I do now lol?” He added, “I just bought 200 seats in the front row so they can be empty, LOL.” He continued, He said, “Lol, at $15 a pop you can’t lose, I got 200 tickets for 3 bands.”
Following the concert, the ‘Candy Shop’ lyricist shared a photo of the empty rows and photoshopped himself into the image. He then trolled Ja Rule on Instagram, writing, “What a show, I mean just f**king great. Do it again my kid went to the restroom.”
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, 50 Cent was asked a question by a fan about the stunt, to which he replied, “I just saw them there to buy, and they were so cheap I might as well just buy them!” A; the while grinning mischievously.
Ja Rule didn’t seem to be bothered by 50’s antics and wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “I get under @50cent skin… — I love it!!!” He also posted multiple photos Fof ifty dressed in a woman’s wig and make-up.
