Prosecutors have shared photos of Gucci Mane being held at gunpoint.
Pooh Shiesty, Big30, and others were arrested in April after being accused of robbing and kidnapping Gucci at a Dallas recording studio.
Now, photos have surfaced of the incident. One picture shows Shiesty’s dad holding the recording contract that Gucci was allegedly forced to sign to release his son, while another shows a man known as R.D. holding a gun.
A third image, allegedly taken by Big30, shows Shiesty standing next Gucci.
The documents read, “Unsatisfied with merely obtaining the written release of contract, Williams Jr announced that he wantd to film R.D., and Wright Jr recorded R.D. on his cell phone stating that Pooh Shiesty dropped from 1017.”
It continues, “All the while, codefendant Demarcus Glover – who had entered the recording room as the altercation ensued – blocked the door holding a Draco.”
Shiesty remains behind bars, while his father and Big30 have been released on bond. US Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, Ryan Raybould, claimed that “[Shiesty] produced an AK-style pistol and forced one of the victims to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint.”
Raybould continued, “The remaining conspirators displayed firearms and robbed the other victims of Rolex watches, jewellery, cash and other high-value items. One of the victims was actually choked by one of the victims to near-unconsciousness.”
Earlier this month, it was announced that the trial had been pushed back to February 22nd, 2027, after initially being set for July 6th, 2026.
The ruling read, “The failure to grant a continuance in this case would deny defendant’s counsel the reasonable time necessary for effective preparation taking into account the exercise of due diligence.”
