GloRilla ends St. Louis show early after multiple fights break out in crowd
GloRilla is currently on her first headlining tour in support of her debut album, Glorious, which was released in October. The Memphis rapper is around halfway through The Glorious Tour, but the shows aren’t entirely going to plan.
During her concert at The Factory in St. Louis on March 24th, GloRilla was forced to end her show early due to multiple fights in the audience. Following the altercations, she attempted to calm fans down, but ultimately, the event had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.
The ‘Yeah Glo!’ artist began performing one of her songs in a clip that surfaced online before stopping to call out a fight. “Come on now, y’all better than that,” she told the crowd. “They still fighting. What the fuck? Come on, St. Louis. Come on now.”
She added, “Y’all ain’t that mad. Ain’t nobody did nothing that bad for y’all to be out there fighting. Y’all supposed to be having a good time being glorious at The Glorious Tour.”
Later in the concert, GloRilla was forced to stop her performance once more when another fight occurred. “I think y’all came to the wrong show,” she said in another clip. “It’s not WWE, guys.”
A fan who attended the show told Fox 2, “It was real fun, up until the fighting. It was actually like a WWE fight; it was really fun; we’re up there peeking over—I had front row in the balcony, and it’s like a sea of people. Then you see a little scramble for a second, and people would start running to it.”
He continued, “[GloRilla] was very involved; she was saying, like, ‘Come on now, we gotta stop fighting,’ and they didn’t listen. Every time she had to interrupt, they’d turn the lights on, the song would stop, and they’d have to restart. They did it three times, which I thought was pretty disrespectful.”
