Former assistant to Diddy says she never told Cassie Ventura to leave “in the way I wish I could have”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former assistant has claimed that she regrets never telling the former hip-hop mogul’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura to leave “in the way I wish I could have.”

The assistant, identified only by her first name of Mia, has been giving evidence over the past days of the trial alleging that Combs abused her in a plethora of ways over the time she worked for him, including physically, emotionally, and sexually.

Mia claimed in her most recent testimony on June 2nd that “I was never out of his grip,” and that she was expected to have constant communications with Combs at every hour of the day, explaining, “it’s way more complex than that” when questioned by the defence why she didn’t tell her loved ones about the alleged abuse while it was occurring.

Mia then went on to give details on her relationship with Combs’ former girlfriend Ventura, noting that the pair were very close but she was “not allowed to tell her the truth about a lot of things.”

The former assistant then said that she never told Ventura to leave Combs “in the way I wish I could have.”

She added: “One of the worst parts was being put in the middle and having to cover up for [Combs] to Cass [Ventura], which he forced me to do constantly.” Mia then explained that she was “terrified” to discover that the former hip-hop mogul had once placed tracking devices on Ventura’s car.

For her own part, Ventura previously testified extensively to the trial.

Combs is charged with five counts of sexual assault, trafficking, and racketeering in the criminal case, to which he has pleaded not guilty and denies all the accusations against him. The trial continues.
