Cardi B and Offset have had a holiday from hell after their yacht sank.
Bizarrely, Cardi decided to film the event rather than call for assistance, and she gave fans updates on her social media pages. “I can’t believe I’m actually watching a yacht sink,” she told her followers in a video posted on her Twitter account.
In the clip, the rapper can be heard saying: “It’s sinking! Y’all see that? Oh my God, they can’t do nothing about it. There ain’t no big boat that can save it. It’s gone! Bye-bye.”
Thankfully, there was nobody on board when the yacht sank, and everybody is in fine health. Additionally, fans fell in love with Cardi’s hilarious commentary from the event.
One social media user posted: “Please narrate the next season of Planet Earth.” Another user added: “I need to hear Cardi B do commentary for the Hindenburg Disaster.”
Meanwhile, Cardi recently talked to David Letterman about why she feels a responsibility to begin spreading a political message in her music. She explained: “I don’t really put a lot of political things in my music, but I used the fuck out of my platform. And I have used my platform even when I was a dancer. Because you might think that people are not looking, but they are.
“I mean, I’m a hood chick, and I’m from the Bronx,” Cardi went on. “A lot of people relate to me and follow me because they want to see how I’m dressed, they want to see my lifestyle.”
She added: “I feel like I have a responsibility to also share to them like, ‘Hey, while you here and you’re checking my outfit and checking my music, check out what’s going on over here in this part of the world.’”
