Cardi B teams up with Kay Flock on 'Shake It'

Cardi B has joined forces with Kay Flock and Dougie B for the new track ‘Shake It’.

All three rappers are Bronx natives, and it also features Bory300 on the Elias Beats produced joint, which samples Akon’s ‘Bananza (Belly Dancer)’. The new release is Kay Flock’s first track since he shared his debut project, The D.O.A. Tape, back in November.

It’s also Kay’s first track since he was arrested in December on a charge of first-degree murder. He is accused of shooting and killing a 24-year-old on December 16th in Manhattan. The rapper has pleaded not guilty and is due to return to court on May 12th.

Flock recently updated fans from prison and wrote: “All good don’t believe the blogs or the internet, everything trendy, forever DOA,” alongside a photo of him in a pink hoodie.

‘Shake It’ was teased in a Sidetalk NYC video last week, and Cardi is seen in the clip rapping: “Shout out to the motherfuckin’ Bronx. Y’all be playing with the Bronx but let me tell you something; these Bronx n***** right now got all the views, beating all y’all n***** on YouTube, deadass.”

You can take the girl out of the Bronx, but ‘Shake It’ shows that you can’t take the Bronx out of the girl.
