Flint rapper indicted on murder-for-hire charges

Flint rapper Cliff Mac has been indicted on several murder-for-hire charges.

The 35-year-old (real name Clifton Eugene Terry III) was found guilty of first-degree premeditated murder earlier this month, but he’s now in further trouble.

According to Mid-Michigan Now, Mac is now facing 10 new counts, including murder-for-hire charges, as of June 18th.

Mac has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death or personal injury, conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in personal injury, and two counts of murder-for-hire resulting in death and personal injury.

Not only that, but he’s also facing two counts of murder-for-hire resulting in personal injury, and four counts of using, carrying, brandishing, and discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

The indictment claims there were 11 victims in the alleged incidents, who were from various places such as Flint, Mt Morris, Burton, and Sterling Heights.

On June 9th, Mac was found guilty of a total of 12 felonies, including the murder conviction. He was found guilty of killing Devaroe Davis in 2021.

Davis was shot and killed outside the Eagle Ridge Square apartment complex near the intersection of Selby Street and East Russell Avenue in Flint on August 17th, 2021.

Mac is facing a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole, and is scheduled to be sentenced on July 10th. It’s currently unclear how much time he could potentially face for the murder-for-hire charges.

The rapper, often referred to as “The King of Flint,” is best known for songs like ‘Back2Back Freestyle’, ‘Calling Me’, ‘Ain’t Letting Shit Slide’, and ‘Savage’. He released his last album, V3, in December 2019.
