Fivio Foreign claims Ma$e locked him in a questionable contract with RichFish Records

Ma$e might have pointed the finger at Diddy for mismanagement as frequently as cockerel crows in recent times, but his friend, Fivio Foreign, seems to think that his own house is rather out of order too.

During an interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Fivio Foreign said that Ma$e signed him up to a questionable contract with RichFish Records and locked him into a troublesome deal.

Apparently, he was pressurised into signing the paperwork when he arrived at a meeting to view the offer. “The [man] that brought me to him, he was like, ‘Yo, man. Just sign that shit. You bugging,’” Fivio Foreign explained. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, read it.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, just sign it. It’s good,’ so I just signed it. Advance was $5,000.”

The appeal of cash up front was irresistible for Fivio, but as he explains: “I thought that shit was going to last until whenever it was going to last. That shit ain’t last two weeks […] Ma$e know the business. He really knows the business a lot. I didn’t know nothing.”

However, since Fivio has dropped hits like ‘Big Drip’, he has earned himself more bargaining power in the deal and things have smoothed out. As he explained: “I’m in a better situation now. He gets what he gets, like, whatever he gets but I control all my money and shit like that.”

Soon enough, he’ll hope he’s as business savvy as Ma$e.
