First interview with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former assistant to air on ABC
Since Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ incarceration in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre, a slew of allegations have been made against him, and a number of lawsuits, both criminal and civil, have been brought against the Bad Boy founder. However, the accusations have led to a string of series about the musician, and the latest docuseries by Investigation Discovery is set to include a bombshell interview with his former assistant.
Combs’ assistant, Phil Pines, will be appearing on camera for the first time since the controversy around the music mogul began in 2023. Pines brought a lawsuit against his former boss last year in which he alleged that Combs forced him to work punishing hours and, as part of his job, forced him to oversee various alleged crimes, including battery, harassment and sex trafficking.
During his on-camera interview with Investigation Discovery, Pines reportedly speaks with journalist Mara S. Campo about the various charges facing Combs and clarifies some of the shocking allegations he made in his lawsuit.
Pines was the individual who put the term “Wild King Nights” into the public consciousness. The former employee alleged that Combs made him clean up after his “freak offs.” and asserted that he had to prepare the house for one-off sexual escapades the Bad Boy founder allegedly called “Wild King Nights.” The former Diddy employee was hired in 2019, and he has previously revealed that he did several jobs for Combs, including getting his food, laying out his clothing, and “being available for Mr Combs at his beck and call.”
He has also claimed that when asked to prepare Combs’ residence for a “Wild King Night”, Pines would have to obtain “red lights, ice buckets, alcohol, marijuana joints, honey packs for male libido, baby oil, Astroglide, towels, illegal drugs and power banger sex machines. “
An even more alarming claim previously made by Pines is that, as part of his job, he had to risk prison time by removing evidence of drugs and bodily stains like blood and urine from from all hotel rooms Combs had stayed in. In the interview, Pines will talk about his time working for Combs, provide further details about these Wild King Nights and speak in-depth about the alleged manipulation he experienced in fear of Combs.
This latest Investigation Discovery docuseries is one of the most thorough and explosive series concerning Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. As of January 28th, the first two episodes are available to stream on Max and Discovery+. However, the final two episodes and the bombshell Phil Pines interview will air live on Investigation Discovery at 9 pm EST.
The musician’s attorneys, led by Marc Agnifilo, responded to the docuseries with a statement: “This production is clearly intended to present a one-sided and prejudicial narrative. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every publicity stunt or facially ridiculous claim. He has full confidence in the facts and the judicial process, where the truth will prevail: the accusations against him are pure fiction.”
