Fetty Wap gets engaged six months after Minnesota prison release
Fetty Wap is officially engaged to his girlfriend.
His now fiancée, Alexis Skyy, confirmed their engagement in a social media post this week.
Skyy took to Instagram to share photos of her engagement ring alongside a video of the proposal, writing in the caption, “I said yes!”
Little is known about Skyy, with Fetty mostly keeping his personal life private. The woman, who goes by the name @lilsex_ on Instagram, has over 43,000 followers.
Fetty was only released from prison in January after serving three years at FCI Sandstone in Sandstone, Minnesota. He was let out early after being sentenced to six years in prison in May 2023, pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.
The rapper made his big return in March with a new album titled Zavier, with features from Wiz Khalifa, Max B, G Herbo, and others.
Following his prison release, Fetty revealed that 50 Cent helped him financially while he was behind bars.
“50 did a lot for me,” he said. “From day one, it was like, ‘Whatever you need, just holler at me.’ I’m like, ‘All right.’ Then [he] was like, ‘Where this money going?’ I’m like, ‘What?’ I ain’t used to that. I’m used to it’s always the other way around.”
He continued, “Whatever I needed, he was right there. He answered the phone. He didn’t shy off all the way down to the time I’m about to come home, ‘How you getting home?’ As far as financial and mental help, he was probably there the biggest.”
Fetty also claimed that 50 told him to “stop fucking up” and that he “should’ve never stopped making music.”
