Fat Joe and E-40 to appear at President Biden rally following debate with Donald Trump

Terror Squad founder Fat Joe and Vallejo lyricist E-40 are going to join US President Joe Biden and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, at a rally following his most recent debate with Donald Trump. On June 27th, the first Presidential debate took place, and the two rappers are ready to endorse the Democrat nominee in the lead-up to America’s November election.

The rally, which will take place in North Carolina, will see the two MCs speak after Biden’s campaign official who has referred to both as “legends of the music industry, who understand the importance of utilizing their platforms to ensure their fan base understands the stakes of this election.”

This is not the first time a president has used popular culture, and more specifically hip-hop, to influence their voter base. Last year, Kamala Harris celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with a party on her estate.

Furthermore, during Donald Trump’s presidential term, he met with rapper Kanye West and received endorsements from the likes of Azealia Banks and Lil Wayne. He even helped get A$AP Rocky out of a Swedish jail following an altercation that saw the Harlem native punch a fan.

Earlier this year, Vice President Kamala Harris pardoned several associates of hip-hop artists who had been incarcerated for marijuana-related offences and made a speech about the differences in severity between cannabis and hard drugs such as fentanyl, declaring, “This issue is stark when one considers the fact that on the schedule currently marijuana is considered as dangerous as heroin.”

She continued, “Marijuana is considered as dangerous as heroin and more dangerous than fentanyl, which is absurd. Not to mention patently unfair.” Following his meeting with Harris earlier this year, Fat Joe told outlets, “When the vice president calls me, I stop everything.”

During an Instagram live, Fat Joe has previously insisted he would never vote for Donald Trump, stating, “Once again, I’m not a Trumper. I dislike Trump. I’m not voting for him — not now, not never!”
