Eminem reveals he wants to record an album with 50 Cent

The iconic 8 Mile emcee Eminem has recently hinted that he is looking forward to the opportunity to make new music alongside his friend and longtime collaborator 50 Cent.

The ‘Lose Yourself’ lyricist hinted that he is currently working on new music and alluded to the notion that he is working with 50 Cent, a rumour that has been circulating the net.

During an appearance on his SiriusXM radio station ‘Shade 45’, Eminem shared “I’m working on a little something.” When asked about the rumours of a 50 cent collaborative project, the Detroit rhymer responded, “I don’t know where that’s come from, but it’s crazy. I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 [Cent] album, like, really bad.”

He continued, “50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour. I told him whatever the [redacted] he needs from me, I’m here. That [redacted] be crazy, though — an album with me and him.”

The two artists have been friends since the late 1990s when Eminem first burst into the mainstream and then discovered 50 Cent. Em (real name Marshall Mathers) signed Fifty to his label Shady Records in 2001, and the two have made history with their music ever since.

Eminem has been at the centre of a lot of controversy recently. In collaboration with Cole Bennett’s esteemed YouTube channel, Lyrical Lemonade, Eminem released the diss song ‘Doomsday Pt. 2’ aimed at Benzino and his daughter, the vocalist Coi Leray.

Only recently did he get a response in the form of ‘Vulturius,’ a savage song from Benzino that makes light of Mathers’ previous drug addiction and even his status as a white rapper.
