Drake takes shots at fake Travis Scott head in unfolding beef

Canadian emcee Drake has officially entered a new feud with Travis Scott following Scott’s involvement in the promotion of Metro Boomin’s track ‘Like That’ featuring Kendrick Lamar, which features several disses aimed at the Scorpion artist. 

‘Like That’ featured on the new Metro Boomin’ and Future’s joint LP Don’t Trust You. However, Travis Scott asked the trio to perform the track alongside him at Rolling Loud California, despite the fact that Scott is supposed to be friends with Drake.

Drake and Scott have collaborated in the past on tracks such as 2018’s ‘SICKO MODE’ and ‘MELTDOWN’, which appeared on Scott’s 2023 project Utopia. However, it would seem they are no longer friends or collaborators. 

J Cole and Drake are currently on their It’s All A Blur — Big as the What? tour, and during their recent pitstop at Penn State University Park, the ‘God’s Plan’ musician performed ‘MELTDOWN’ but, mid-performance began screaming and pulled out a prop of the Astroworld head featured on Scott’s 2018 album cover.

He then put it in his sniper scope and unloaded fake gunfire on the emcee’s head as it burst into flames. Scott is now just one artist on a growing list of acts Drake has on his hit list including Metro Boomin’, Future and Lamar.

Following Drake’s stunt he then performed two tracks most probably aimed at his enemies, including ‘Fake Love’ and ‘No New Friends’. The More Life musician will also have to ditch his friendship with LeBron James who has already shown love to Kendrick Lamar following the song’s release. 

‘Like That’ saw Lamar rap lines such as “Fuck sneak dissin’, first-person shooter/I hope they came with three switches,” and  tore to shreds the idea that Drake has reached the same level of stardom Michael Jackson had during his prime and compared himself to Prince, rapping, “N*gga, Prince outlived Mike Jack.”
