Drake’s ‘Janice STFU’ debuts at number one on Hot 100

Drake has secured another number-one single with ‘Janice STFU’.

Drizzy released three albums on May 15th, including Iceman, which features the song produced by b4u, FNZ, and Rogét Chahayed.

‘Janice STFU’ becomes Drake’s 14th number one single, following 40.7 million streams, 2.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 3,000 sold in its first week.

In doing so, he becomes the solo male with the most number one singles on the chart, after previously being tied with Michael Jackson.

In the song, which addresses his haters, Drizzy raps, “Ayy, buried alive, somеone come dig me up/ If I call up your shawty right now, shе pickin’ up, yeah/ You boys got big off my name, that’s big enough/ We know how you OGs rockin’ already, my n*gga, the jig is up.”

The Toronto rapper’s previous number ones include ‘First Person Shooter’ with J Cole, ‘Slime You Out’ with SZA, ‘Jimmy Cooks’ with 21 Savage, ‘Wait for U’ with Future and Tems, ‘Way 2 Sexy’ with Future and Young Thug, ‘What’s Next’, and ‘Toosie Slide’.

There has also been ‘In My Feelings’, ‘Nice for What’, ‘God’s Plan‘, ‘One Dance’ with WizKid and Kyla, ‘Work’ with Rihanna, and ‘What’s My Name?’ with Rihanna.

Aside from ‘Janice STFU’, Drake also dominates 90 per cent of the top 10 on the Hot 100 this week.

‘Ran to Atlanta’ with Future and Molly Santana is at number two, ‘Whisper My Name’ is at number three, ‘Shabang’ is at number four, ‘National Treasures’ is at number six, ‘Make Them Cry’ is at number seven, ‘Dust’ is at number eight, ‘2 Hard 4 the Radio’ is at number nine, and ‘Make Them Pay’ is at number 10.
