Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg to launch new cocktail range

Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg are joining forces again. However, this time, it’s not musically as the pair prepare to enter a joint endeavour that will see them launch a new cocktail range inspired by the 1993 track ‘Gin & Juice’.

The abovementioned single appeared on Snoop Dogg’s debut album, Doggystyle, which Dr Dre produced executively. The cocktail range will be pre-mixed canned beverages and will be available in four different flavours – Citrus, Melon, Passionfruit and Apricot.

Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Gin & Juice cocktail range will be initially launched in the US and may become a worldwide product. The joint endeavour will see the inception of a new West Coast premium spirits company.

In 2022, Snoop Dogg launched his own brand of Cali Red wine in partnership with 19 Crimes Wines. In a recent press statement, Snoop’s collaborator and business partner Dr Dre (real name Andre Young) announced, “Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us.”

Snoop added, “A lot of times people have been in a relationship for thirty years and can’t talk to each other, can’t hang out, so it’s just fun to be in a partnership with people that you actually love.”

Although they’re focusing on their new spirit collection, Young and Snoop (real name Calvin Broadus) have also quietly been working on music. Earlier this month, Broadus announced plans for a Doggystyle sequel album titled Missionary.

During an appearance on the All the Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Snoop unveiled, “I’ve been working on a record with Dr. Dre for the past eight months. We’re about ready to drop a single in a couple of weeks, so that’s what I’ve been cooking up.”
