Don Toliver and Travis Scott come together for new track ‘Embarrassed’

Don Toliver had formed a collaboration with his Cactus Jack label mate Travis Scott to record a new single ‘Embarrassed’. The single arrives on Toliver’s new album Love Sick, which was released just last month with further collaborations from the likes of GloRilla, Future and Brent Fayiaz.

The pair rap together on the song produced by Wheezy and Dez Wright, “New checks on me, they clear/ Got her naked on the terrace/ Got my diamonds on in Paris/ Got my diamonds on, embarrassed.” Check out the full track below and get a feel for the kind of chemistry being cooked up over at Cactus Jack.

Love Sick is Toliver’s third studio album, and had several producers offer their talents to its production, including Boi-1da, James Blake, OZ and the aforementioned Wheezy. Elsewhere we find guest appearances from big names like Justin Beiber, Toro Y Moi, Lil Durk and Charlie Wilson.

Toliver has been the subject of recent criticism when several allegations were made against him for filling up his YouTube account videos with views from automated bots, as well as fake comments giving praise to his songs.

A representative from the Cactus Jack record label came out fighting, defending Toliver and claiming no one from the organisation made any bid for views of that kind. “Just like other artists and their teams who have been attacked with botting reports, we are both deeply upset and concerned,” the rep said (via HipHopDX). “To be absolutely clear, neither Don nor anyone on his team has had any involvement here.”

They added, “While we conduct our own investigation into the allegations, we urge Atlantic Records to do the same — to protect the integrity of not only their roster of artists but their reporting metrics. We look forward to sharing more as we obtain more information.”
