Doja Cat bring Lollapalooza set in Argentina to an abrupt end

Doja Cat abruptly ended her set at Lollapalooza in Argentina following a worrying incident in the crowd.

Reportedly, Doja asked the audience if “somebody needs help out there” which led to a portion of the crowd pointing to the area where assistance was needed. “We can’t have that,” the singer said, before adding, “I can’t keep going if things aren’t good.”

The singer then told the crowd that it was extremely important that safety came first ahead of the show. She said: “It’s nobody’s fault – these things happen, there’s a lot of people. Don’t get sad or upset – I’ll be back, I will. I promise.”

After a short break, Doja was given the green light to return to her set and she returned to finish it in style by ending on her chart-topping single, ‘Say So’.

Additionally, she also revealed her plans to be pickier when it comes to collaboration in the future. “I have been trying to be more careful about who I’m collaborating with,” she said in a conversation with ExtraTV. “Not to say that the people on my album are—they’re incredible. They are the perfect features on my album,” she added.

“But I do want to be more choosy about what I’m doing because I feel like a lot of features are coming out. It feels like people are just getting on each other’s songs for the sake of having them on each other’s songs.”

“I want to be really careful about that,” she continued. “Sometimes it’s too much collabs and remixes and things like that.”
