Alec Baldwin’s brother alleges there’s a “bidding war” for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sex tapes
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs is currently jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being arrested in September on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Among the many sexual assault allegations against the rapper, Combs has been accused of filming sexual acts at parties known as “freak-offs.”
In her lawsuit, singer Cassie claimed the “freak-offs” were drug-fuelled, days-long sexual performances of sexual depravity, which Combs coerced women into. She accused Combs of sexual abuse and rape, and claimed that many incidents were witnessed by his affiliates who “were not willing to do anything meaningful” to stop his actions.
During a recent episode of the PBD Podcast, actor Daniel Baldwin, who is the brother of Alec Baldwin, claimed that there’s a “bidding war” for the alleged sex tapes that Combs filmed. “He has videos of the parties,” he said. “What I heard from friends that are attorneys, friends of mine, that have represented me before, said there’s a bidding war going on right now.”
He continued, “They’re driving that price up because if you want your client and your famous actor to not be involved, a famous singer to not come out, ‘Here’s the price,’ and that they’re just selling to the individuals that are in those. This is what I heard. They’re selling those videos.”
64-year-old Daniel is the eldest of the Baldwin brothers and is best known for starring in Homicide: Life on the Street. He went on to suggest that many big actors, who were married at the time, attended Combs’ parties and took part in the alleged sexual acts.
“If you’re Tommy X, and Tommy X is a big movie star, and he was at some of the Diddy parties, if he was in one of those bedrooms with three other men and he’s happily married to a woman, Tommy doesn’t want that video to come out, he does not want it to come out,” he said.
Speaking to the Mirror, celebrity crisis and PR expert, Eric Schiffer, added, “Unlike Harvey Weinstein or R Kelly, the response to Diddy’s arrest is massively quiet within the celebrity community. Celebrities are silent because they are scared of their brands being in the klieg lights and bleeding out with fans over ties to Diddy, and worse, getting subpoenaed to reveal Diddy’s chamber of secrets.”
