Diddy says police are using "military-level force" in raids

Diddy is facing multiple lawsuits and is currently in a lot of trouble with law enforcement. However, in a recent statement, he denounced police for using excessive force while raiding his multiple residences in the US.

The producer’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, recently released a statement condemning law enforcement while clarifying that nobody has been arrested following the raids. As reported by numerous publications, the statement read, “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences.”

It continued, “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested, nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

Dyer insisted that the rapper had been ambushed and targeted by the police unfairly and without warning or respect for his privacy. As such, he believes that the rushed approach will have an effect on his upcoming trials.

Detailing his sentiments about the way officers have treated the mogul (real name Sean Combs), Dyer continued, “This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”

He additionally wrote, “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Diddy’s multiple homes have been raided, including his mansions in Los Angeles and Miami. The excessive nature included helicopters patrolling the airspace above his house and police breaking down doors without notice.
