Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, the American rapper, producer and business mogul has been accused of sexual assault by an unnamed male music producer.
The suit, which was filed in federal court in New York, alleges that Combs coerced the producer into having sexual relations with prostitutes. It also states that the musician also repeated actions of nonconsensual groping and touching.
It added a recounted an incident when the producer woke up in bed with two sex workers, suspecting that he had been drugged. A separate claim states that he had to work in a bathroom while Combs walked around naked.
One of Combs’ lawyers described the allegations as “pure fiction”. His attorney, Shawn Holley, said: “We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies,” adding, “We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
The suit is among several sexual assault lawsuits filed against Combs in recent months, including one from R&B singer Cassie that was resolved last year.
Another accuser of Combs alleges that the rap producer raped her two decades ago when she was 17. She also implicated Harve Pierre, president of Combs’s label Bad Boy Records, and an unnamed individual.
Her lawsuit stated: “[The accuser] did not consent to having sex with Mr. Combs, but he continued thrusting. At some point, Mr. Combs turned Ms. Doe around to face him. He told her that he could not orgasm and asked her to squeeze his nipples as hard as she could to help him ‘get off.’ He then turned her back around and continued to rape her.”
Combs previously took to social media to deny the allegations. He wrote: “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.”
Adding: “I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
