Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ mother allegedly threw sexual parties around rapper as a child

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ childhood friend has accused the rapper’s mother, Janice Small Combs, of throwing sexual parties around them when they were kids. Producer Tim ‘Dawg’ Patterson has spoken out about his early experiences with Combs in a new documentary called Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.

“There was always things going on,” he explained. “On the weekend, [Combs] partied in the house, and we did that a lot. He was around all types of alcohol; he was around reefer smoke. Drug addicts around, lesbians around, homosexuals, he was around pimps, pushers. That was just who was in our house.”

He added, “People that attended the parties were from Harlem, from the streets. It wouldn’t be a thing to mistakenly walk into one of the bedrooms and you got a couple in there, butt naked.”

According to Rolling Stone, Patterson suggested that his childhood memories could be the root of Combs’ alleged actions that have found him charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

“That’s what we were privy to; this is what we were fed,” he said. “Was it desensitising us? I’m sure it was. Were we aware of it? No, that was just Saturday night. I’ve always been asked the question why. I don’t know the answer to why, but I truly believe it all goes back to childhood.”

DJ EZ Lee Davis stated that “everyone was welcome” at her parties, adding, “[Janice] had little cool chicks that would come around and she made sure everybody was comfortable.” Janice broke her silence on the allegations against her son in October, claiming he was “not the monster they have painted him to be” in a statement.

“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” she wrote. “To bear witness what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words.”

She continued, “Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence. I am not here to portray my son as perfect because he is not. He has made mistakes in his past, as we all have.”

The new documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, premieres on Peacock on January 14th.
