Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is making millions in jail from side hustle

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has been in jail since September, but that hasn’t stopped him from making millions of dollars on the outside. The hip-hop mogul was arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution, with his trial currently taking place in Manhattan.

Amid his trial, it’s been reported that Combs has been renting out his $60 million private jet, which has seen him earn $4.1 million since he was detained.

According to The Sun, wealthy customers have been renting the aircraft without knowing it belongs to Combs, with each journey costing $32,597.

The famous all-black jet has 14 seats with a range of of 6,750 miles. Luxury rental operator Silver Air is operating the flights and advertises itself as a “comprehensive fleet of luxury aircraft,” using websites such as Jettly.

As of May 20th, the aircraft had been rented out 126 times, meaning it’s been rented out every other day since his incarceration. It’s racked up 149,540 miles, with each journey on average lasting 1,186 miles.

Combs offered to sell the jet as part of his proposed $50 million bail package, but Judge Arun Subramanian denied him.

The news comes despite Kanye West claiming that Combs wasn’t able to make any money during an X rant in February.

“I JUST FOUND OUT THAT PUFF IS NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE OR COLLECT MONEY WHILE HE’S LOCKED UP,” he wrote. “SO I’MA SEND HIS HALF OF THE MONEY TO JUSTIN. WHOS EVER AFTER PUFF WE GOTTA FIND OUT EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE OK COOL PLAY OFF THE GRID.”

He added, “MY HEART HAS NOT JUMPED NOT ONE MOMENT TODAY I GOT STEEL IN MY VEINS GOD MODE. PUFF WE LOVE YOU.”
