Attorney claims alleged victims are scared of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs release

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently awaiting the outcome of his request for bond. Ahead of the hearing taking place on November 25th, an attorney revealed that a number of his alleged victims are scared about his potential release.

Combs appeared in court on November 22nd in a third attempt to secure bail ahead of his trial for sex trafficking and racketeering in May 2025. The Bad Boy boss has pled not guilty to the charges and denies all accusations of wrongdoing related to the investigation.

His legal team pleaded with the judge that he wasn’t a threat to society. In the session, which lasted two hours, the prosecution laid out their reasoning as to why they believe Combs should remain in custody, claiming he “cannot be trusted.”

Attorney Ariel Mitchell, who is representing multiple victims, has stated that her clients are concerned about Combs being granted bond. “All of them are very apprehensive about their safety if he were to be granted bond,” she told NewsNation. “I am confident in the court. I am sure that the court will remain with their previous decision of no bond.”

She continued, “There have been threats from people on the internet, but not from, at least, what we don’t know from Diddy to be directly. Mr. Burgess has received several death threats. My client, Mrs. Parham, has been receiving threats, but we don’t know if they’re just regular people from the internet, or if they’re actually people who were sent by Diddy.”

Mitchell says Combs has been “trying to silence” her for years after making people aware of his alleged crimes since 2021. As well as her victims, she also admitted that she would be nervous if the rapper was released from custody.

“I keep two straps on me,” she said. “And I have God protecting me. I’m not scared. As long as he’s behind bars. I will say, if he does get out, I am grateful to hear that the judge won’t let him come back to Miami, so, to that extent, I’m very grateful. If he were to come back to Miami, I probably would be a little nervous and probably beef up security, I’m pretty good with my Smith and Wesson.”
