Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accusers detail alleged abuse: “I can no longer just remain silent”
A new documentary series titled The Fall of Diddy is set to be released later this month, detailing the “insidious and terrifying” allegations of rape, violence and abuse against Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs. The series, consisting of four episodes, is set to include “unheard accounts from survivors and insiders,” showing interviews with 30 people made up of his accusers, former friends and employees.
Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering in September, pleading not guilty and being denied bail three times. He’s currently jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with his trial set to begin on May 5th.
The documentary includes interviews with not only those who have already spoken out against him but “accounts from new voices yet to be announced, including those coming forward for the first time with deeply disturbing accounts of their encounters with Combs.”
Danity Kane member D Woods is interviewed in the series, as well as producer Lil Rod and former Vibe editor-in-chief Danyel Smith. A woman named Thalia Graves, who claimed that Combs raped her in 2001, also appears in the documentary, admitting, “I always believed that I was the only victim.”
Other comments throughout the trailer include, “I can no longer just remain silent,” and, “We did not realise the extent of the darkness.” Another said, “The truth will always find its weight, even in the dark.”
Another comment claimed Combs said, “Sometimes, you just gotta let these hoes know who the boss is.” Another alleged he was threatened by Combs. “He said, ‘I’m Puff Daddy, I’ll eat your face off,'” he recalled. “It’s a lot of people like Puffy in this music business. Exposing Puffy means exposing them.”
Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, previously called the rapper “an innocent man with nothing to hide.” He added, “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr Combs by the US Attorney’s Office.”
Continuing to back his client, he said, “To his credit, Mr Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgement until you have all the facts.”
The Fall of Diddy is set to premiere across two nights on Investigation Discovery from January 27th.
