Chicago rapper LUCKI victim of $500,000 Los Angeles burglary

LUCKI was robbed of almost $500,000 worth of items this week.

The Chicago rapper, known for songs like ‘Sunset’ and ‘Randomly’, returned to his Los Angeles home on July 14th to find that he had been burgled.

According to NBC Los Angeles, LUCKI entered his West Hollywood property at around 10:30pm to discover that six figures worth of bags, clothes, and other personal items had been stolen.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were informed and are searching for security camera footage from the neighbourhood.

It’s currently unclear what time the burglary took place, with police officers yet to make an arrest in the case. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the LASD’s West Hollywood station.

LUCKI released his new album, Dr*gs R Bad, in May, debuting at number nine on the Billboard 200 chart with features from Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, Rylo Rodriguez, Veeze, and Chynna.

The following month, he announced that he had signed a major label deal with Interscope Records, having always been independent.

Celebrating the deal, he said, “Thank you to everybody apart of this dream of a process. I met so many people that helped shape this whole game from behind the scenes to what it is today. People that signed & formed artist & movements that inspired ME to be what I am today.”

He continued, “That’s humbling it’s self, I also wanna thank y’all for respecting MY process & being patient with me, letting it be MY process. It’s heavy knowing you probably boutta break a few billionaires heart…knowing how nice they were and not trying to see the other side of ur competitive spirits that we bonded over.”
