Charlamagne Tha God faces fresh accusations of underage rape

The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne Tha God is facing fresh allegations of historical underage rape.

The presenter, who was acquitted of underage rape charges roughly 20 years ago, is again in the spotlight. During the first allegations, Charlamagne Tha God did plead guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor for having alcohol at a party where the alleged incident took place.

In 2018, these allegations resurfaced. A petition even gathered pace asking for Charlamagne to be fired from Hot 97 due to the alleged incident. The presenter then voluntarily provided a DNA test, and there was no match with the 15-year-old victim. Charlamagne was sentenced to three years of probation in 2001, but the court dismissed the charge of sexual assault.

Ex-NBA player Kwame Brown has now come forward to claim that Charlamagne Tha God committed rape on a 15-year-old and got away with it. Brown was prompted to attack Charlamagne after the host revealed personal details about the former Basketball player during his radio show.

The host claimed that Brown’s father is serving a life sentence for allegedly beating his girlfriend with an axe handle and burying her alive. He also claimed that one of Kwame’s brothers “shot his baby mama several times and then killed himself.”

“You want to talk as if you know me,” Kwame stated in an Instagram Live broadcast in response to Charlamagne’s comments. “Rape case guy Charlamagne Tha God, that actually pled guilty and got away with that.

You want to talk about a brother that I never met because my father had a son outside of his marriage just like [Breakfast Club cohort] DJ Envy’s cheating a— So you’re going to put out to the world that I’m some killer?”
