Chance The Rapper wants to work with ‘Peppa Pig’ and ‘Baby Shark’

Chicago artist Chance The Rapper has revealed he would be down for a collaboration with Peppa Pig and Baby Shark. The rapper discussed his unlikely collab ambitions during a recent appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, where he explained that his two daughters are huge fans of the characters.

The host, Meyers, first asked Chance whether his daughters liked his music. “Yeah, they do like my music,” he replied. “They’re more into Peppa Pig and their contemporaries [though]. I have a few songs that they’ll listen to. They like ‘Let’s Go On The Run’ [from 2019’s The Big Day].”

Chance added that, due to the explicit content of some of his music, he has to be “careful” which songs he plays to his daughters.

“In a desperate attempt to gain their affection, would you ever do a collaboration with Peppa?” Meyers later asked.

“Out of my own desperation, I’d do a track with Peppa,” Chance replied. “Peppa, if you’re listening, I’m trying to work. Or at least get some autographs for my kids. Shout out to Peppa Pig and Baby Shark. I’d work with Baby Shark in a heartbeat.”

Chance also recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of his masterpiece album Acid Rap. At that time, “everybody that met me was trying to either offer me acid or ask me interview questions about acid. [I was] basically the spokesperson for drugs. I had everything in excess.”

He continued to explain that if he hadn’t pushed past that difficult time, he “probably would’ve died”.
