Cassie collaborator reveals alleged phone conversation with Diddy

On September 16th, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested and is currently being held in detention for sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The ongoing legal battle has prompted a lot of individuals from the disgraced music mogul’s past to come forward and speak about their own alleged stories with Combs.

One of these individuals is Cassie’s songwriter, Tiffany Red. She recently opened up about her experiences with Combs in a documentary on ABC called, Secret Life of Diddy. Cassie recalled one particular story that involved a harrowing phone call between Combs and Cassie, which revealed to Red that something wasn’t right in their relationship.

Red remembers Combs asking, “Is someone in the car with you?” He continued, “I know someone is in the car with you…” Red said, “That was my first time being, like, ‘Something is wrong’.”

Red continued to discuss another disturbing interaction, which she said happened in 2015, around the time of Cassie’s 29th birthday. She said that she saw Combs get in Cassie’s face and start cussing her out. Cassie was allegedly cornered in a room while Combs continued to get angry and shout in her face.

Red said she doesn’t know what prompted the altercation. “He was really mad,” she said, “He was really mad, he was really close to her face and she just had her head down. My sense was that everybody around him was afraid of him.”

Furthermore, Red has made more allegations against Combs in recent months. Since his arrest, she has been very vocal about some of her past experiences with him. After he was taken into custody in September, she took to Instagram to share another story about her time working closely with Combs.

“While co-creating Cassie’s sophomore album, I was degraded by Sean Combs, deceived by him, his team, and the record labels about the music being released,” she wrote, “I was exposed to Diddy’s abuse of Cassie and others in her circle, and I unknowingly consumed something laced without my consent at his Hombly Hills home studio while writing for Cassie back in 2017.”

Red isn’t the only person who has come forward with claims about Combs following his arrest. Tony Buzbee, a Texas-based attorney, claimed he was representing 120 clients, all of whom have separate claims against the music mogul. “We will expose enables who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” he said, “Many powerful people […] many dirty secrets.”

Combs has pled not guilty to all of the charges he is facing, and vehemently denies all accusations of wrongdoing. He’s set to face trial next May.
