Cardi B targets Donald Trump and Secret Service after Super Bowl treatment: “My uncle got deported”
Cardi B attended the Super Bowl over the weekend but allegedly ran into trouble with the Secret Service. She claims that the federal law enforcement agency gave her a hard time while trying to get inside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Bronx rapper went on Instagram Live this week to bad-mouth President Donald Trump and the way she was treated at the major sporting event. Trump watched on as Kendrick Lamar headlined the halftime show and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
“Yo, I was too fucking mad today because, you know, Donald Trump and shit,” she began. “He was at the Super Bowl today, and they was giving us a hard time. Oh my gosh. The Secret Service was not playing at that motherfucker. The Secret Service was not playing to get in that motherfuckin’ stadium.”
While she didn’t go into detail about the Secret Service’s alleged actions, she claimed that they “fucked up” one of her heels. “This shoe cost me three bands… all ‘cause of Trump,” she said. “Now I like him lesser. Now I like him lesser because you didn’t have to go to no damn Super Bowl. Fucking up my shoe.”
Cardi went on to claim that one of her family members has been deported because of Trump. “Now he’s gonna have to – well, he definitely ain’t going to do that – bring my uncle back… because my uncle got deported,” she said.
The ‘WAP’ rapper has been outspoken about Trump in the past. In November, she appeared at a rally for Kamala Harris in the presidential race at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center.
“We all knew Trump was a hustler,” she said. “And I’m a hustler too. But hustling women out of their rights to their body is nasty work. Hustling Americans out of their hard-earned money by selling Trump watches, Trump sneakers and Trump Bibles is nasty too.”
She continued, “Today, it’s your wallet. Tomorrow, he’ll be conning you out of your healthcare rights. Donald Trump talks about how he has ‘a concept of a plan,’ but, America, the only concept of a plan he has is a plan to hustle you. He’s selling more than watches and sneakers. He’s selling us bigotry, misogyny, division, chaos, and confusion.”
