Cardi B claims she was chosen by Jesus to be successful
Cardi B has been having many lengthy Instagram chats with fans of late. She has talked about a number of things, including addressing her separation from husband, Offset, and her career, insisting that Jesus made her famous.
Despite the unfounded cheating rumours swirling around social media, Cardi insisted she is not worried about outside noise because she is guided and protected by power. Furthermore, during the broadcast to thousands of fans, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper claimed that she is unaffected by the ups and downs of fame because she is “anointed.”
Cardi told fans that recently she has noted a lot of “weird” energy coming her way. However, the ‘WAP’ rhymer alluded to karma, emphasising that anyone who decides to throw her off track or attack will spiritually get that back tenfold.
Speaking about the spiritual karma that will hit her haters, Cardi asserted, “You gonna go through shit because you fucked with me, and you wanna know why?! It’s not ‘cause I’m a fucking witch like y’all be making it seem ‘cause I’m Dominican and y’all be thinking I be doing black magic. No, it’s ‘cause I’m fucking anointed. I was picked by Jesus! I’m really one of God’s kids.”
The lyricist highlighted how many people from her background attempt to get where she is career-wise and insisted that she managed to get where she is because higher beings assisted her. Elaborating on this point, she told her followers, “You wanna know how I know I’m anointed? You know how many strippers are in America – in the world – how many strippers have a fat ass, how many strippers could rap? And God chose ME to be famous!”
In other Cardi news, the rapper is extremely unhappy with the lawsuit she is currently facing which accuses her of allegedly not paying the rental fee for the mansion used in her ‘Like What’ music video.
Moreover, the former reality TV star declared that she has the receipts to prove the claimant wrong. The lawsuit, which seeks damages of $35,000, states that Cardi B and her husband Offset (who directed the video) allegedly rented the property “without paying full market value.”
The legal filing claims that the estranged couple allegedly hired the mansion “under false pretences.” Other celebrities, including Justin Bieber and Logan Paul, have also used the Beverly Hills property previously.
Unsurprisingly, Cardi rejects the claims and took to X to express her anger, writing, “We paid those people $10,000 IN CASH to rent the property for a whole 24 hours that same day 6am to 6am the next morning and we went over by ONE hour which we paid overage fees to the realtor for in March. There was cameras all over and both the realtors and the owners was there the ENTIRE time.”
