Cam’ron denies peeing in his grandfather’s orange juice

Cam’ron has denied peeing in his grandfather’s orange juice, despite one of his old lyrics claiming otherwise.

The Dipset rapper released his debut solo album, Confessions of Fire, in 1998, reaching number six on the Billboard 200 chart.

On one of the songs, ‘Confessions’, Cam stated that he urinated in his grandad’s drink after getting annoyed with him.

In the first verse, Cam raps, “Too many things I did that aren’t loose, smoking leaks like giving a car a boost/ My grandfather got me mad and I peed inside his orange juice/ And asked him if it’s tangy/ When I’m angry.”

During a recent episode of his It Is What It Is podcast, Cam claimed he has no recollection of the lyric.

“I can’t remember where my brain was at at that time,” he said. “I’m not sure, I’m not sure. I don’t remember, man. I don’t even remember that lyric.”

After claiming he was “following some ideas” from other people in the room, he said, “I can’t even respond to that … I didn’t do it, though.”

‘Confessions’ is produced by Darrell ‘Digga’ Branch and features Jacob York. In the lines that follow the grandfather lyrics, Cam also suggests he had sexual relations with his aunt.

He spits, “Then one day, when I thought it wasn’t a sin left/ I ran into my aunt with the fat ass and the thin chest/ I don’t really wanna talk about it, or get in depth/ But father, I’m gon’ leave you with this last word called incest.”

Confessions of Fire opened with 107,000 copies sold in its first week, with contributions from Ma$e, Usher, Swizz Beatz, Noreaga, Jermaine Dupri, and more.
