Boosie Badazz hospitalised following health scare
Boosie Badazz was hospitalised over the weekend due to stress, allegedly related to a lawsuit against him.
20-year-old Caleb Wilson, a student at the Baton Rouge college, died in February 2025 in an off-campus hazing incident.
Boosie later announced that he was creating a memorial scholarship for Wilson, but Louisiana attorney general Liz Murill claimed the rapper was exploiting him.
Murill recently issued an investigative demand for a judge to find out how he was able to use Wilson’s name and image.
On February 21st, Boosie took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reveal that he had been admitted to the hospital following her legal action and threatened to fight back.
“JUST GOT OUT THE HOSPITAL,” he wrote. “IM GOOD JUST CHECKED MYSELF OUT. I LET THIS LADY GET THE BEST OF ME WITH THIS BULLSHIT ASS LAWSUIT N GOT ME SICK. SHIT JUST WRONG N EVIL SHES DOING. DEFINITELY WILL ADD THIS TO MY LAWSUIT. HEADED TO THE MALL SO I CAN RIGHT FOR FIGHT N DETROIT.”
Murill previously described the scholarship as a “dramatic misrepresentation and misappropriation of Caleb’s name and image to support a for-profit event without the consent of Caleb’s parents.”
At the time, Boosie responded, “BUT FOR Y’ALL TO SAY THAT Y’ALL ARE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO HELP Y’ALL IS A SLAP N MY FACE N ‘COMPLETELY WRONG. WHEN KEEPING IT REAL GOES WRONG SMH BR I’M DONE. ANOTHER MONEY GRAB!! THIS IS The ULTIMATE BETRAYAL SMH.”
The 43-year-old released his latest album, Grown Man Talk, a collaboration with OG Dre, on February 14th. He previously dropped GOAT Talk 4: If I Have to Leave Again, in January.
