Blueface detained after false report about killing his girlfriend in Santa Clarita
Blueface was detained this week after a 911 caller falsely told police that he killed his girlfriend.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies rushed to the rapper’s home in Santa Clarita, California, on July 21st at around 3pm.
According to The Independent, the caller claimed Blueface was high on drugs, had shot his girlfriend dead, and tied up their daughter.
After police received the report of an assault with a deadly weapon, the rapper and everyone else were detained at gunpoint during a search of the property. At the time, Blueface was in the middle of an hour-long live stream on Kick.
However, officers determined that the allegations were false, finding no victims and that there was no threat to the public.
Authorities are currently trying to work out who made the swatting call, with no arrests made yet.
The 29-year-old, known for his hit single ‘Thotiana’, was released from prison in November 2025 after spending 21 months behind bars. The prison time stemmed from violating his probation over the 2021 assault of a nightclub security guard.
Earlier this year, Blueface claimed that he lied about being the father of Chrisean Rock’s child for publicity.
“We were making money, it was a good storyline,” he said. “The biological father, he didn’t fit the storyline, put it that way. So, I went along with it.”
He previously said, “Tell me why I snook an swab this baby dna test results came in….iam not the father smh. It’s a bitter sweat feeling cus I was coming around to it but definitely in my best interest. Thank you Jesus. I can’t even pretend like im not happy as hell.”
