Big30 denies snitching on Pooh Shiesty after Dallas jail release

Big30 has denied snitching on Pooh Shiesty.

The Memphis rapper was arrested earlier this year alongside Shiesty and others after being accused of robbing and kidnapping Gucci Mane.

This week, the 26-year-old took to social media to address allegations about him snitching on Shiesty. On his Instagram Stories, he wrote, “Don’t believe the hype…. NEVER WILL I EVER.”

Big30 was released from a Dallas jail in June on a $100,000 bond; as part of his release, he’s under home detention and monitoring. Shelby County Commissioner Miska Clay Bibbs recently supported Big30’s attempt to ease his bail restrictions.

Bibbs pointed out “the substantial time and resources he has devoted to serving communities throughout Memphis and Shelby County.” She also mentioned his “commitment to family, employment, community and compliance provides strong evidence that he can continue to be successfully supervised within the community.”

Claiming his innocence, Big30’s lawyer said, “He doesn’t have a criminal history. He’s been making music for a number of years. He and Pooh Shiesty came up in the music game together. They were very close and made music together. It’s just sad that this is happening right now.”

He added, “I just hope that people will wait to pass judgment on [Big30] and these other individuals until all the facts come out.”

The January incident allegedly involved Shiesty and others attempting to force Gucci to release him from his recording contract.

US Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, Ryan Raybould, claimed that “[Shiesty] produced an AK-style pistol and forced one of the victims to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint.”

Raybould continued, “The remaining conspirators displayed firearms and robbed the other victims of Rolex watches, jewellery, cash and other high-value items. One of the victims was actually choked by one of the victims to near-unconsciousness.”
