Beyoncé has announced a new 2023 worldwide tour

Beyoncé is one of the biggest pop stars in the world and is known for being one of the best entertainers of her generation. Having just released her seventh studio album Renaissance last year, the multi-millionaire vocalist has just announced that from May through to September this year, she will be hitting the road to embark on what has been dubbed a worldwide tour.

Before now, the singer has been tight-lipped about the details of the tour. However, fans now know that the star will be kicking things off in Europe with her European leg commencing in May.

This latest announcement indicates she will be in Europe for two months, performing in all of the continent’s major cities, including London, Paris, Madrid and Berlin. The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer will also be performing multiple shows in these cities, with some having more than four different dates due to the high demand.

Following her Europe leg of the tour, the iconic singer will be touring her album in Canada’s major cities. She will conclude with a US-wide tour with several dates in New York’s Madison Square Garden. This tour marks Beyoncé’s first since she co-headlined her 2018 On the Run II tour alongside her husband and collaborator Jay-Z. Furthermore, this tour marks her first solo worldwide tour since 2016’s Formation world tour behind Lemonade.

Beyoncé did suggest to fans and media outlets alike at a world tour last year. However, for the most part, nobody was in the know. At the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala, the raffle included “a UNIQUE experience” to see her on the Renaissance tour, so fans were expecting something special. This tour will not be Bey’s first performance of 2023. To kick off the year, the singer performed at the opening of a luxury resort in Dubai. However, most likely because of the planned tour, Knowles performed no material from Renaissance

The tour is a whopping 43 dates in its entirety.
