Azealia Banks claims she had sexual relations with Drake
Azealia Banks has never been one to shy away from sharing her thoughts or disclose private information online, and 2024 has been no different. The NYC rapper, best known for her hit single ‘212’, has now claimed that she once hooked up with Drake.
Recently taking to X (formerly Twitter), Banks threw her support behind Drake amid him filing a pre-action lawsuit against Spotify and Universal Music Group, alleging they illegally boosted streams of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’.
In response to her backing of Drake, an X user replied to her post, writing, “Damnnn.. you wanna suck Drake dick that bad??” Banks quickly responded, “AND DID!!!!!!!!”, claiming they engaged in oral sex at some point.
As for her original post, Banks stated that Drake was about to cause serious issues for Universal and Spotify, describing the legal action as “lethal” in exposing the alleged crooked ways of the music industry.
“Oh Drake DEFINITELY has the gun,” she wrote. “He’s about to crook UMG and Spotify on some minor legal formalities and actually be the first rapper in history to stage a heist of such epic proportions. It’s really such a lethal chess move when you really examine it.”
She continued, “He’s going to subpoena literally every platforms records, they will not be able to cook the books- and *discover* (expose) all the shady backend parts of music streaming no one really understands… then they will all have to prove that Drake is a pedophile which would make UMG and spotify look r*tarded if they even did.”
Banks claimed that, as a result, Lamar won’t be allowed to perform ‘Not Like Us’ at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, which Jay-Z was responsible for booking.
“Kendrick is not going to be able to perform they not like us, and Jay-Z is going to have officially been bodied by a singing n*gga,” she added. “Everyone is going to gag at how this plays out. It’s better to watch and understand what’s happening then get emotionally involved or pick sides, we’re about to watch the girls BATTLE honey yaaass.”
Banks was once signed to Universal. She begged to be released from the label in January 2014, stating, “I’m tired of having to consult a group of old white guys about my black girl craft. They don’t even know what they’re listening for or to.” Six months later, she was free.
The controversial rapper previously called out Drake amid his beef with Joe Budden, criticising him for having alleged liposuction and cosmetic surgery on his nose. “Does drake know his desperate attempts to gangsterize Canadian ‘street life’ is an all encompassing failure in and of it itself?” she wrote.
