Azealia Banks accuses Kanye West of attacking wife
Azealia Banks has never been one to shy away from making her voice heard and now she has made severe accusations of domestic abuse against Kanye West.
On September 11th, Banks took to the social media platform to go after a number of different targets in the music industry. There were a lot of accusations hurled, but one of the most damning was aimed at West. Banks alleged in her rant that West had physically abused his wife, Bianca Censori. West is yet to respond to the allegation made by Banks.
The rant took place in the early hours of the morning and started with her talking about the controversial conservative figure Milo Yiannopoulos. He previously worked for West, and Banks posted a screenshot showing a termination notice issued to Yiannopoulos.
Banks then claimed West’s former employee had insider knowledge about how Ye treats his wife. She said that there was persistent domestic abuse occurring and put Yiannopoulos on blast for not bringing it up.
“Tell the world about Kanye is Beating up Bianca Censori,” she wrote, “And how he threw a chair at Northwest the other day, big mouth.” She didn’t provide any context, as this claim came amid plenty of others, but the shocking nature of the accusations was enough for Twitter users to single them out.
This isn’t the first time that Banks has called out West. The two have had a back-and-forth beef for years at this point. In 2023, when West was beefing with Nicki Minaj, Banks took to social media to dub him a “Fat smelly loser.”
Banks was also critical of West’s album Donda when it was eventually released, taking to Instagram to let her feelings be known. “Two fucking years,” she said, “To drop this redundant shit? Gosh. Is this a Kanye West record or what?”
West is yet to respond to Banks’ allegations.
