A$AP Rocky explains Drake beef: “I just don’t fuck with him”
A$AP Rocky has opened up about his feud with Drake, believing their issues stem from female relationships.
The Harlem rapper released his latest album, Don’t Be Dumb, on January 19th, and appeared to take shots at Drizzy on the song ‘Stole Ya Flow’.
During his appearance on The Ebro Show, Rocky clearly stated his feelings about Drake and dived into the roots of their beef.
“I just don’t fuck with him,” he said matter-of-factly. “We was once friends. I feel like it’s over females. I feel like he wasn’t happy and he expressed that.”
He added, “And I think at some certain point when everybody getting older and it’s just like you supposed to be moving on, for you to still be picking at a female and all that, that’s soft to me.”
Flacko was referencing shots that Drake has seemingly sent in Rihanna’s direction over the years, having previously been close.
Speaking on ‘Stole Ya Flow‘, he told Ebro Darden, “I’m talking to whoever feel like I’m talking to ’em. I do think that is petty, and like I said, it’s enough money, it’s enough women, it’s enough fame, spotlights to go around. We not really tripping off nothing, but is it real smoke? It could never be.”
On the track, he raps, “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ bitch,” and “You just a sensitive n*gga, still in his feelings.”
The two rappers previously collaborated on ‘F**kin Problems’ in 2012. They also hit the road together on the Club Paradise Tour.
Rocky has been in a public relationship with Rihanna since 2020, with whom he shares three children: RZA, Riot, and Rocki.
