A$AP Rocky reveals tracklist for ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ album
A$AP Rocky has revealed the tracklist for his new album Don’t Be Dumb ahead of its release this week.
The Harlem rapper took to Instagram on January 14th to share song titles for the 15-track standard edition of the project.
Don’t Be Dumb will include the recent singles ‘Punk Rocky‘ and ‘Helicopter$’, with other notable songs titled ‘Stole Ya Flow’, ‘Stop Snitching’, ‘Air Force (Black Demarco)’, and ‘Whisky (Not Resisting)’.
Rocky unveiled the tracklist through various designs by iconic filmmaker Tim Burton. In one of them, the text reads, “The nightmare b4 the release. A true masterpiece by A$AP Rocky and his alter egos.”
While the standard version of the album has 15 tracks, there will be a total of 17 tracks. As of the day before release, the final two song titles are hidden on Spotify.
Don’t Be Dumb will serve as Rocky’s first album in eight years following Testing, which reached number four on the Billboard 200 chart with 75,000 units in its first week.
Out on January 16th, the project boasts six album covers that depict different Rocky personas, created by Burton.
Rocky previously told Billboard, “I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was fucking with it heavy, he was rocking his head, and he’s like, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!’”
Speaking ahead of its release, the rapper said, “I’m challenging myself. It’s like anything, I approach it with a different tactic, degree, or finesse.”
