A$AP Rocky admits he regrets semen comments: “Wildest shit I ever said”
A$AP Rocky once had a viral moment that he admits he regrets after looking back on his comments years later.
Rocky spent time at Rikers Island prison when he was 16 and told a story about him fighting fellow inmates behind bars.
“One n*gga, got that n*gga up outta there, thank God,” he said in the original clip. “I had to fight some n*gga in the bathroom, no homo, we slipping on semen.”
He continued, “N*ggas was jerking off in the bathroom, n*gga. Got that n*gga up outta there, all that shit. This is parts of the story that I don’t like.”
During a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, the interviewer brought up the incident, which left A$AP Ferg clearly confused.
“That shit be blowing mine,” Rocky said. “I wish I never said that shit. That shit dumb funny, bro. I can’t lie.”
Speaking on Ferg’s reaction, he said, “It must have been [his first time hearing the story]. That n*gga was like, ‘Nah.’ I said, ‘Pause.'”
He added, “That was the wildest shit I ever said. You can’t take that back, kiddo … I did say [pause], but that’s crazy. That’s pause though, that’s crazy. Why you bring that up? I ain’t gon’ lie, you a wild boy for that.”
Rocky was arrested on attempted murder charges when he was 16, spending two weeks at Rikers Island. The charges were later reduced, and he was released.
The Harlem rapper just released his fourth album, Don’t Be Dumb, on January 16th. The project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with 123,000 units in its first week, becoming the third chart-topping album of his career.
