Hear an AI Biggie Smalls rap Tupac Shakur's ‘Hit ‘Em Up’

A Reddit group known as Yedtis has shared an AI-generated version of Tupac Shakur’s ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ rapped by Biggie Smalls. The group, which dedicates itself to the “mixing and editing of a wide variety of artists’ music”, posted the track last month.

The track is about a minute long and features The Notorious B.I.G. rapping a diss track originally aimed at himself. Smalls is just the latest subject of an ongoing AI craze currently breeding a range of impressive (and not-so-impressive) tracks.

Timbaland recently used Artificial intelligence to tick off his dream collaboration with Biggie, sharing a new song he created using AI-generated Biggie vocals via Instagram. “Alright so, I’m sitting here with my brother, Creatr God, and we know that it’s a lot of talk about AI and we know how the feelings of violating certain things,” Timbaland said in the clip. “But let me tell you something: I got a solution, I’m working on it. It’s gon’ be beneficial to everybody.”

He continued: “But, in the meantime, I gotta share something I’ve been working on because I always wanted to do this and I never got a chance to. I always wanted to work with Big and I never got a chance to — until today. It came out right! Play!” You can check out AI Smalls’ take on ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ above.
