Action Bronson reveals he was offered role on ‘Euphoria’

Action Bronson has revealed he turned down a role as a drug dealer in the hit HBO show, Euphoria.

Aside from being a rapper, Bronson is also an accomplished actor who excelled in his role in Judd Apatow and Pete Davidson’s The King Of Staten Island. However, the character which they envisaged for him in Euphoria was too seedy for his liking, and he didn’t want to be associated with it.

“They wanted me to play a drug dealer that was getting with the high school girls,” Bronson explained. He added: “Action Bronson ain’t doing that, bro.”

Additionally, the rapper revealed he auditioned for a role in Uncut Gems which was unsuccessful. “They wanted me to be the guy next to the main goon, the Russian. But I bombed at the audition, bro,” he revealed.

Last month, Bronson shared his new album, Cocodrillo Turbo, which was released on April 29th through Loma Vista Recordings. Talking about the record, he previously said: “I first came up with this album while in the water. I’ve spent many lifetimes in the water. I’m just a water man. I was born in the water, I’m a water sign.”

Meanwhile, Bronson will be hitting the road alongside Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist this summer. The trio will continue their ‘NBA Leather World Tour’ by bringing it into Europe with stops in Manchester, Birmingham, and a fixture lined up at London’s Brixton Academy.
