Action Bronson announces new album ‘Planet Frog’

Action Bronson has announced that his new album is titled Planet Frog.

The Queens rapper’s upcoming project will be his first in two years following 2024’s Johann Sebastian Bachlava the Doctor.

During a recent interview with VIBE, Bronsolino explained the meaning behind the album title.

“Just the way that the frog allows you to connect with another universe,” he said. “The frog has a special serum in its back. When you cut your arm and you rub that serum into your bloodstream, you see the ancients. You see the ancestors. You could hear the trees. I’m listening to the water talk right now. It’s singing like Mary J Blige.”

As of now, there’s no release date for the project. However, he went on to tease a collaboration with two big names.

“The details are yet to come,” he said. “Honestly, I just wrapped it up. I just got it all together. I do have a joint coming with Lil Yachty and Paul Wall. I had a dream of that collab for some reason, and I feel like I needed to make that happen. And we made it happen. [It’s called] ‘Triceratops’, like the dinosaur.”

‘Triceratops’ is produced by Daringer and will be released on April 24th alongside a music video.

Bronson also teased a song with Roc Marciano, with whom he’s collaborated on many occasions.

“There’s all kinds of things, and I have a lot of usual suspects on there with me,” he said. “Roc Marciano, who’s one of the best rappers who’s ever lived. Me and him have so many songs together. This one’s a special one. I’m about to shoot the video tomorrow. I got the Mitsubishi Pajero pulling up. They’ve never seen the Pajero in the video.”
