Rapper 6ix9ine has addressed his assault at the gym, labelling his attackers “cowardly”.
The New York rapper – real name Daniel Hernandez – discussed the situation in an Instagram post at the weekend. He described the group of men who jumped him as “cowardly” and then said that he “never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W?”
He did clarify that he isn’t “mad about being jumped” as street life has “no rules”. “I can’t say they were wrong,” he also said in his Instagram caption. The TattleTales rapper maintained that he’s “never hid from anything” and has been in public without security for two years.
“If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world ‘Danny drives his own cars and be solo,'” he continued. “You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.”
Three men alleged to have been the perpetrators of the assault have been arrested. On March 30th, Rafael Medina Jr., 43; Octavious Medina, 23; and Anthony Maldonado, 25, were all taken into custody in Florida’s Palm Beach. Records indicate they were booked into Palm Beach County Jail on charges of robbery and assault.
