Detectives reveal 50 Cent offered to bail London drug dealer out of jail

50 Cent reportedly offered to bail a drug dealer out of jail.

The G-Unit rapper was touring Europe last year as part of his Legacy Tour to celebrate his 50th birthday.

According to the BBC, 50 wrote a letter to the judge to release an arrested suspect on bail in order for him to work on the tour.

Back in March, a man named Abdirahiim Hassan, from London, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A cocaine and possession of criminal property in the form of cash. Then, on July 10th, he was sentenced to 18-and-a-half years in prison.

50 also sent a second letter, offering to pay £50,000 for the man to be released on bail. However, the judge shut him down.

His letter began, “My name is Curtis Jackson, known professionally as 50 Cent.” The rapper stated that Hassan was in charge of his tour’s food and beverage operations, playing a “critical operational role” in the run of dates as an “essential member” of his team.

50 revealed that he had “known and worked closely with him for many years, both professionally and personally.”

“I write as someone who has relied on him directly in my own business and who knows his character through years of first-hand experience,” he wrote. “I am aware of the matter that brings Mr Hassan before the court, and I do not write to minimise its seriousness.”

He added, “I write only to give the court an honest account of the man I have come to know through working alongside him over the years.”

Prosecutors said that Hassan was “substantially involved in national-level cocaine trafficking,” living a “jet-setting, Entourage-type lifestyle, working for an A-list musician.”
