50 Cent, Moneybagg Yo and Snoop Dogg have collaborated for 'Black Mafia Family'

50 Cent has teased fans with information about the theme song for his upcoming TV series, Black Mafia Family. The track sees the iconic New York rapper team up with Snoop Dogg and Moneybagg Yo.

Although he has recently discussed how Eminem has inspired him to get back in the recording studio, it seems that these days, 50 Cent is more of a TV mogul than a rapper. In recent years he has cast legends Method Man and Snoop Dogg in Power Book II: Ghost, afforded NLE Choppa the job of creating the Raising Kanan theme tune, and now is at the helm of the upcoming Starz series, Black Mafia Family.

Now, using his incredible influence, not only does Black Mafia Family boast a cast that features Snoop Dogg and Eminem, but it now has an equally all-star theme tune to boot. Per HipHopNMore the rap titan revealed that he will be joined by both Moneybagg Yo and Snoop Dogg for the upcoming show’s theme.

In a new interview with ThisIs50, Cent revealed the title of the track to be ‘Wish Me Luck and reflected: “That joint hasn’t been heard in its entirety. Moneybagg Yo, myself, and Snoop Dogg are on that song. Building out records, music that means something culturally at the time when I’m putting it into the programming, that’s the idea. They’ll get a chance to feel the full effects of it when the show premieres.”

This follows a trend of 50 Cent‘s, one where he makes anthemic tracks for his TV shows. In 2014, he released ‘Big Rich Town’ for Power and last year he released ‘Part Of The Game’ for Power Book II. Fiddy was also asked to pick which of his theme tunes was his favourite, to which he responded ‘Big Rich Town’. He said: “I had that record playing for eight years.”

He explained: “The song doesn’t go away. When the show’s a hit, the song’s a hit. I fucked up — I tried to change the theme song. Nobody changed the theme song to Sanford & Son — I just had an idea that we could make it younger and cooler.”
