50 Cent mocks Dave Blunts over his weight and gets response
50 Cent has taken shots at Dave Blunts over his weight. The G-Unit rapper is no stranger to mocking fellow celebrities, and the rapper from Davenport, Iowa, was his latest target.
Blunts went viral in 2024 after videos surfaced of him performing with an oxygen tank, having suffered severe health problems, including heart failure.
On July 20th, 50 posted a photo of Blunts on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Ye this ya manz, if I catch him, im pushing him down the stairs.”
Blunts, who has collaborated with Kanye West, came across his post and fired back by sharing a photo of 50’s weight loss for the 2011 film, All Things Fall Apart.
“@50cent I been going to the gym and been locked in on my health journey the world is watching me lose weight but you lost all that weight for that weak ass movie and nobody watched that shit,” he wrote.
Earlier this year, Kanye revealed that Blunt was his favourite lyricist. “Dave Blunts is my favourite rapper,” he wrote on X. “His raps give me the energy of my tweets.”
In another post, Kanye referenced his weight. In a screenshot of a text message conversation, Ye told him, “Do you mind if I connect you and my trainer. We need you to stay alive.” Blunts replied, “Let’s do it. Thank you Ye.”
Blunts recently claimed he wrote the entirety of Kanye’s unreleased album, WW3, detailing the project’s content in an Instagram Live session.
“Everyone seems to think WW3 is an antisemitic album, but it’s not!” he said. “It’s about one man going between hurt, betrayal and pain, and he’s putting that shit down. I know it’s not an antisemitic album because I wrote that shit, me. Every song on that album.
“I can’t wait for you all to hear that shit. I know my label is going to be mad as hell because I told you I wrote that shit, but whatever.”
