50 Cent facing charges for throwing his microphone at woman

‘In Da Club’ rapper, 50 Cent is facing possible charges after the emcee decided to aggressively hurl his microphone into the crowd while performing in Los Angeles, injuring a woman in the process.

While on stage at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on his Final Lap Tour, the Queens lyricist grew angry as the sound team repeatedly gave him broken microphones and in a rage, the ’21 Questions’ musician threw his defective mic into the crowd.

Unknowingly, the artist hit Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain, who has since filed a police report. The radio personality was left with a bloodied gash on her forehead and severely injured. Monegain reportedly told law enforcement she believed the rhymer purposefully threw the object at her as 50 Cent looked directly at her before angrily launching it in her direction.

However, despite Monegain’s thoughts, many outlets have reported that 50 threw the mic at his crew in the production area and accidentally hit Monegain in the process. This incident follows a similar situation involving Cardi B in Las Vegas.

50’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, has since made a public statement, stating, “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

Video footage has emerged online, in which the Queens, New York native can be seen growing agitated by the technical difficulties as YG performs on stage next to him. Fifty threw microphones off stage on two separate occasions.

After news of the incident became public, Compton rapper and former G-unit member The Game took to social media to ridicule 50 Cent and address him, writing, “Curtis yo fat ass came to LA hittin’ women?” 50 Cent could be looking at battery charges now.
