50 Cent called out over Diddy jokes

Since the barrage of lawsuits and allegations made against Diddy, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper 50 Cent has been trolling the Bad Boy Entertainment founder about his sexual harassment accusations. However, he has recently been called out by DJ and radio personality Ed Lover.

During a recent appearance on the C’Mon Son! podcast, Lover claimed that 50 Cent’s endless trolling of Diddy (real name Sean Combs) has become too much and that the ‘In Da Club’ lyricist has now crossed a line.

Explaining that Fifty’s digs are uncalled for, Lover stated, “As much as I love 50, I think 50 is stepping over the line now. I really do.” Lover, who used to host MTV’s iconic Yo! MTV Raps insisted that “Funny is funny” and admitted he had told some jokes about Combs recently but claimed 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) is going overboard.

Revealing why he is uncomfortable with Jackson’s actions, Lover continued, “He’s kicking the shit out this n*gga while he’s down.” However, the DJ had an interesting take on why the fiascos are taking place.

Revealing that he thinks that Miami emcee Uncle Luke has it right, Lover claimed that the allegations are the result of a planned attack by liquor company Diageo, who severed ties with Combs last year after he sued them for racism.

During an Instagram Live broadcast, the Florida lyricist stated, “When you get your billions, and they put you on a pedestal, that’s because they put you up on a pedestal…Never bite the hand that feeds you! This is how the major corporations work when you try to come after them. Now you put a lawsuit in. Bam!”

Lover agreed with this and, putting together the pieces of the puzzle, detailed, “I believe what I just saw Uncle Luke say earlier today: that this is a machine coming after this dude. I think it’s Diageo. Diageo is fucking powerful. They’re the second- or third-largest alcohol distribution company in the world … Puff all of sudden decides to sue them for racial discrimination. All of this shit comes out right after that.”
